Waterfronts Delivered Through Engineering, Operations, Environmental Science, and AI

Selected projects across Europe and the Middle East

Our work spans new developments, aging marina evaluations, waterfronts, islands, and coastal assets across Europe and the Middle East.

FEATURED PROJECTS

Dubai Islands

Marina Concept Development & Feasibility

Homeport supported the master planners in integrating marina concepts across five islands within Dubai Islands. The work included a regional market review, site engineering evaluation, marina concept development, utility demand planning, and financial feasibility.

Port Tarraco

Superyacht Marina Turnaround

Homeport was engaged to diagnose underperformance across marina, office, and retail operations at Port Tarraco — one of Europe’s major superyacht facilities. Homeport delivered strategic, operational, and commercial improvements that repositioned the asset.

Palm Jebel Ali

Market Study, Demand Analysis & Marina Schematics

Homeport delivered a full Dubai marina market study, followed by Palm Jebel Ali demand analysis and schematic marina design. This project defined the commercial and operational positioning of one of Dubai’s largest waterfront assets.

Marasi Marinas

Marina Design, Development & Construction Supervision

Homeport was contracted to design, develop, and construct five marinas along the Dubai Canal. The scope included a floating event center featuring floating restaurants, entertainment facilities, and four floating yacht clubs. The engagement covered traffic and environmental studies, coastal modeling, feasibility analysis, marina concept development, tender assistance, and full technical construction supervision.

The World Islands

Marina Assessment, Concept Development & Visioning Support

Homeport was contracted to review the existing marina conditions and waterways across The World Islands. The engagement began with an extensive Dubai marina market study, followed by a detailed site evaluation to assess engineering, access, and operational constraints. Homeport then developed a new marina concept and provided visioning support to guide future development and positioning of the asset.

Palm Jumeirah Anchor Marina

Design, Development & Supervision

Anchor Marina — the first marina built on Palm Jumeirah — includes 600 berths and was constructed without piles to the highest standards. Homeport’s principals led the design, development, and supervision during their tenure as CEO of IGY middle East and Africa.
